Usage
The device is used properly if it is only used to
illuminate ordinary working areas and, in the process,
technical data. Any other or additional use is not
permitted.
The device may not be used:
• in areas with harmful gases, oils, acids,
radiation, etc.
• in areas with an explosion risk.
This device complies with all relevant norms and
standards required for CE compliance. Compliance
with these standards is no longer guaranteed when

The lamp may get hot in the
vicinity of the light outlet. Therefore,
maintain a distance of at least 0.1m
Ignoring these safety instructions can
result in material damage or potentially
fatal personal injuries!
• This device should not be used by children or
people with cognitive impairment, as they may
not be able to assess properly the risks posed
by electrical equipment.
• Only use accessories and spare parts approved
by Würth.
• Only electricians may interfere with the device
and perform repairs.
• Always put/screw on a protective cap when
connectors are not used.
• The device is protected against water jets when
all connectors are covered by protective caps.
Pushing the device under water creates the risk
of a lethal electric shock and destruction of the
device.

For your own safety

when smoke, smouldering/irritating smells or
damage to the device can be noticed. Therefore
immediately:

— Provide fresh air / ventilation.
— Mark the device as faulty, e.g. with a sticker,
so that no other person switches on this device
without knowing that it is faulty.
• A damaged mains cable may only be replaced
by a special mains cable that can only be sourced
from the manufacturer.
• Only connect the device to properly installed
power sockets. Only use connection aids, such as
cable drums, that correspond to the applicable
safety standards.
• The mains cable may not be exposed to mecha-
nical tension and pressure, as this might lay bare
dangerous live conductors. Thus:

use extension cables as required.
— pull on the plug to disconnect the cable
from the socket.
— pull carefully on the cable as well and not only
the device to change the working position.
— do not place heavy or sharp-edged objects
onto the cable.
— do not kink or knot the cable.
• The bulb of this lamp cannot be exchanged.
The whole lamp must be exchanged when the
bulb is defective.
Notes for hand / working lamps
• Do not open the device. There is a risk of a
short-circuit. Repairs to the device may only be
performed by persons who were authorised and
trained for that purpose. Please contact your
Würth branch.
Protect the device against heat, e.g.
water and humidity. There is a risk of
explosion.
