7. OPERATING FLAW
The hand dryer does not switch on
1. Check the power supply and connections to the unit. Make sure the hand dryer is turned on at the
terminal block.
2. Check the RED LED service for the following:
The light is ON - Place hands under the sensor. If the light remains on, replace the sensor. If the
light goes out, check to ensure that wiring is correct. If this is the case, check the connections to the motor.
If both are in good condition, replace the motor.
The light is OFF - Check if wiring is loose, disconnected or incorrect (see the wiring diagram
located inside the hand dryer cover), or replace the control assembly.
The LED FLASHES - See the error codes in the table CODE.
SETTING THE RANGE SENSOR: If dry hands do not turn on, do not stop or stops working, it may be
installed too close to a counter or an object and was blocked. If it is impossible to move the camera, adjust
the sensor range. Turn off the power to the hand dryer and turn the range setting of the control assembly in
the anticlockwise to L (-) low to decrease the range of the sensor.
The hand dryer does not stop
1. It can be installed too close to the counter or object (adjust the sensor range).
2. Check if wiring is loose, disconnected or incorrect
(See the wiring diagram attached to the blower housing)
3.Replace the control assembly.
DETAILS ON MOUNTING
The hand dryer does not always turn on or off automatically
1. It can be installed too close to the counter or object (adjust the sensor range).
2. verify the presence of foreign materials on the optical sensor adjacent to the air outlet.
3. Check for presence of loose wire on the control unit.
4. Replace the control unit.
The hand dryer heats the air but not out
1. Check the connections to the motor.
2. Replace the engine.
The hand dryer not breath of cold air
1. Check the heat setting on the control unit. 2. Checks for loose connections to the heating element.
3. Replace the heating element.
The hand dryer losing air
1. Check the setting of the motor speed on the control unit.
2. Check if the operation is slow or if there is a burning smell. If this is the case, replace the motor.
3. Check the lint buildup on the prefilter Clean by removing pre-filtered and rinse with hot water and then
dryprefilter dry before reinstalling.
SETTING OUT FROM HEAT, THE ENGINE SPEED SENSORS AND BEACH
The hand dryer is shipped set to heat and the maximum engine speed. To adjust, turn the relative knob
CLOCKWISE to reduce.
Note: ECO® models have no heating element and the heat is turned down.
The codes are displayed by flashing the red LED in the sensor behind the air outlet.
Normal operation is indicated by the red LED lights in case of drying and off when hands are in the sensor.
