GENERAL
OKSOL is a novel, integrated, forced solar powered system that uses solar thermal technology for instantaneous
production of domestic hot water (no DHW storage).
The absorber, forced circulating system with Drain Back (self-draining) technology and 170 litre water tank are integrated
into a single element.
OKSOL, using photovoltaic solar technology to power circulating pump in the primary circuit, operates as a completely
autonomous system (no electrical connection required).
The OKSOL-SMART version also includes an IoT module that is also self-contained and powered by the photovoltaic
panel, which manages equipment operation, and offers comprehensive monitoring of energy performance and alarm
messages.
The only connections required for installation are a domestic water inlet and outlet.

WARNINGS AND SAFETY

Warnings
If leakage from the system occurs, close the shut-off valve at the system inlet and contact the installer immediately.
The solar unit is protected against frost by a thermal fluid. Use only the thermal fluid provided by ORKLI S. Coop.
Check the minimum temperature achievable on the system location and refill with the proper amount of thermal fluid
(described in the installation manual).
This document is part of a solar powered system and must be kept in good condition. If it is lost or destroyed, contact
your supplier for a new one.
The solar system you have just received must be in perfect conditions. If you notice any damage or defective material
contact your installer.
The solar system must be installed and commissioned by a professional installer. The installer must sign the warranty
document. Installers are responsible for ensuring the correct installation and commissioning in accordance with
regulations.
There is a risk of severe burns for persons coming into contact with heat transfer fluid conductive elements, as these
components become very hot when operating in solar mode.
For loading conditions not covered by the document, please contact the technical assistance service.
Basic safety rules
Do not install the solar system on a flat or sloping roof without following the general safety rules.
Do not change the settings of the safety valves. Verify that the system operates properly.
Do not make any changes to the system or its components, and do not replace system parts without the prior
approval of ORKLI S. Coop.
Do not allow excess anti-freeze to evaporate or discard it. Do not allow children near the system.
Do not interconnect or drill into the internal circuit of the solar system.
Do not work on the primary and secondary circuits when heat levels are high, whether the circulating pump is
operating or stopped.
The installation must be fitted with a thermostatic mixing valve at the outlet of the domestic hot water to prevent
overheating dangerous to the user.
Installers must ensure that the anchorage substructure(s) as well as the static of the building will withstand the
additional loads the unit adds, in accordance with the EN 1991 standard (or with existing country-specific guidelines).
Installers must ensure that surface fixations (anchors, dowels, or screws) must be suitable for each building material
(concrete, wood, sandwich panel, etc.), in accordance with the EN 1991 standard (or with existing country-specific
guidelines).
Installers must ensure that the profiles installed that are not in our catalogue support the applied loads and requests
in accordance with the EN 1991 standard (or with existing country-specific guidelines).
The OKSOL system does not have to be installed in peripheral areas of the roof (peripheral areas e/10 based on the
EN 1991 standard, the minimum distance being 1 m.).
