User instruction

The extractor is designed for stationary use with cars or heavy vehicles as
trucks, buses and so on.
Recommended airflow:
Cars: minimum 400 m
Trucks and buses: minimum 1500 m
5.1

Connection

1.
Open the station door and start the exhaust extraction fan.
2.
Drive the vehicle to the intended place.
3.
Fit the nozzle on the exhaust pipe with the grip attachment.
5.2

Disconnection

1.
Open the station door and stop the exhaust extraction fan.
2.
Disconnect the nozzle from the vehicle. Hold the hose until the
balancer has lifted it to its end position. Units delivered with automatic
disconnection have a factory adjusted wire connected to safety coupling
and nozzle.
3.
Drive the vehicle out of the station.
NOTE!
The hose can withstand 150 °C (hose type NFC 300 °C) for
continuous running. Use at higher temperatures will shorten the life of the
product. Therefore, avoid tasks that require extended periods of continous
running which will generate high exhaust temperatures.
WARNING!
Risk of personal injuries and/or product damages.
• The system must not be used for other purposes than extracting exhausts.
• The system must not be used when working on the vehicle´s fuel system,
when recharging the batteries or whenever there is a risk for inflammable
dust or explosive gases.
• Check that there is enough suction capacity in the exhaust hose before it is
connected to the vehicle exhaust pipe. If not, check the fan impeller rotation
direction and/or damper function. If necessary check installation of fan start
switch.
• When working with a running engine and specially in a lubricating cavity a
gas warner is recommended.
• For systems with automatic disconnection the maximum vehicle speed must
not be more than 15 km/h.
• Check that the hose or nozzle will not snag on any protruding parts on the
vehicle.
• When using the system for a long time with high engine speed, avoid
contact with hot hose or nozzle.
