Preface

This manual is for the correct installation, use and maintenance of this product.
Read it carefully before using this product or carrying out maintenance.
Replace the manual immediately if lost.
This product has been designed to meet the requirements of relevant EC
directives. To maintain this status, all installation, repair and maintenance
work for this product is to be carried out by qualified personnel using only
original spare parts. Contact the nearest authorized distributor or Nederman for
advice on technical service and obtaining spare parts.
Nederman continuously improves its products' design and efficiency through
modifications, and reserves the right to do so without introducing these
improvements to previously supplied products. Nederman also reserve the right
to, without previous notice, modify data and equipment as well as operating
and maintenance instructions.

Mounting instruction

See Figures 1–5. When mounting the extractor, ensure that suitable fixing bolts
are used considering the wall construction material. The bolts must each stand
a torque force of minimum 4000 N (880 lbs). Recommended installation height
above floor level is 3–4 m.
Make a direct connection to a Nederman N series fan or make a duct
connection to a central fan. To get underpressure in the ducting system and
avoid exhaust leakage, the fan should be positioned as near the outlet from the
room as possible.

Installation checklist

Check that the hose lifts away correctly after disconnection and that it
does not touch the station floor.
When required, adjust the balancer lifting power. See instruction
no. 148103.
Check that the hose does not catch any part of the vehicle or the station
door.
Check the air flow (cars 400 m
opening with an air flow indicator. If required, check the fan impeller
rotation direction and/or damper function.
