ATTENTION!
■ The plastic foils and bags pose a suffocation hazard! Keep children and animals
away from the packaging material.
1. Unpack the product contents and make sure that they are complete (see chapter
"Product contents and device overview") and check for any damages from transport.
If the device, plug or mains cord exhibits damages, do not use the device (!); instead
contact customer service.
2. Before you use the device, remove all packaging material and any labels located on
the device and which serve to provide protection during transport or are for adver-
tising purposes.

Safety devices

• The device is equipped with an overheat protection! The device automatically deac-
tivates if it overheats. Set the off switch and heat control to position 0 and let the
device cool off for approximately 15 minutes before you switch it back on!
• The device has a safety switch! The device can only be switched on if it is set up on
a level base, that is when the safety switch on the bottom is activated.
