Risks of injury
The plastic foils and bags pose a suffocation hazard! Keep child-

ren and animals away from the packaging material.
This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well as
■
persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities or
those lacking experience and/or knowledge if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in how to safely use the device
and have understood the risks associated with operating the de-
vice. Children may not play with the device. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be performed by unsupervised children.
Keep children under 8 years of age and animals away from the

device and the connection line.
Children and animals must be under supervision to ensure that
■
they do not play with the device or accidentally burn themselves.
Explain the potential risks associated with this device to children.
Burn hazard! The device becomes very hot during use and re-
■
mains hot for a short time after deactivation. Therefore, only take
hold of the device by the handle. Always let the device cool off
completely before you clean or stow it.
Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping
■
hazard. Do not leave the cord unattended when it is hanging
down from a table or similar if children or animals are nearby.
They could pull the device down with it.
Never leave the device unattended when plugged in to the mains
■
supply. Pull the mains plug in case of longer breaks.
Store the device so that it is not accessible to children or animals!

Risk of electric shock and fi re
Only connect the device to a properly installed socket with pro-
■
tective earth contacts. The socket must also be easily accessib-
le after connecting so that the mains connection can be quickly
disconnected. The mains voltage must correspond to the techni-
cal data of the device. Only use proper extension cords, whose
technical data correspond to those of the device.
