Before Initial Use

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
■ Warning – Danger of Fire! Keep combustible materials away from the device. Fur-
nishings such as upholstered furniture or curtains should be a minimum of 1 m away.
• Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be
on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
• Always place the device with clear space of at least 100 cm above it and on all sides
on a dry, fl at, solid and heat-resistant surface out of the reach of children and animals.

Use

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Do not cover the device during operation. Do not hang any laundry or similar items
over the device to dry.
■ Warning – Danger of Fire! Do not operate the device unattended so that you can
intervene immediately in the event of any faults.
1. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that is easily accessible.
2. First move the fi re lighting switch (8) to position I. The "fi replace look" lighting switches
on. The device does not heat up yet!
3. Move the heating level I switch (7) to position I.
4. Use the dial (5) to set the temperature. To do this, turn the dial in the + direction. The
device starts to heat up.
