Charging the Battery

PLEASE NOTE!
■ An additional USB mains adapter which matches the technical data of the article (see
rating plate or the "Technical data" chapter) is required.
■ The article should not be charged via a computer, because the high charging current
could damage the computer.
Before initial use the battery should be fully charged, so that it reaches its full capacity.
1. During charging the article must be switched off.
4. During charging the battery charging control lamp (5) is on.
5. When the battery charging light goes off, the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the
mains adapter from the mains socket and the hollow plug from the article.

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Set the volume of your mobile phone, tablet or laptop to low in order to prevent pos-
sible hearing damage. After that the volume can be increased to a pleasant level.
With regard to using the remote control, see also the chapter on "Items Supplied
and Article Overview" – "Remote control".
2. Connecting the article
• The article will automatically look for a source. It is displayed to the source (Blue-
tooth ® menu) as "EASYmaxx Speaker".
• If the article is not displayed, press key
start a new search.
• As soon as the article is connected to the source, a further beep is heard.
It is not possible to connect several sources to the article.
If a new source is to be connected, press the key
order to start a new search.
1. Remove the protective cap of the charging socket (8).
2. Connect the hollow plug of the USB cable (4) to the charg-
ing socket on the article, and the USB plug to the socket of
a USB mains adapter (not supplied).
3. Connect the mains adapter to an easily accessible socket.
