The buttons on the remote control only function if the article has previously been
switched on via the ON / OFF switch (A) on the base of the article (see the "Use"
chapter)

Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings.
1. Unpack the items supplied and check them for completeness (see the "Items Sup-
plied and Article Overview" chapter) and transport damage. If you fi nd any damage to
the article or accessories, do not (!) use the article, but contact our customer service
department.
2. Remove all packaging materials and any possible protection during transportation.
3. Pull the insulation strip out of the battery compartment to activate the battery.
4. Fully charge up the battery (see the "Charging the Battery" chapter).
