6.2. SYSTEM AND MAINTENANCE MESSAGES

The electronics continuously monitor the humidifier's func-
tions. Any deviations from the operating mode are shown on
the display.
Message
The E1 indication appears on the display of the control unit.
The steam cylinder can no longer provide the required nominal output..
Correction
• Check the state of the steam cylinder.
• Clean the steam cylinder or replace it if necessary, see page 20 and restart the humidifier.
Message
The E2 indication appears on the display of the control unit.
An overcurrent (140 % of the nominal current) was determined.
The humidifier switches off the humidifying process for safety reasons
Correction
• Limescale may cause an overcurrent in the steam cylinder which cannot be be corrected by draining water.
Clean the steam cylinder, see page 20 and restart the humidifier.
• Check the water inlet valve and outlet valve.
• Contact customer service of the specialised company if the message occurs repeatedly.
Message
The E3 indication appears on the display of the control unit.
The water supply is interrupted.
The humidifier switches off the humidifying process for safety reasons.
Correction
• Check the water supply.
• Check the water inlet valve and outlet valve.
• Check the run of the steam hose.
