Temperature setting
• Place the iron (8) on its appropriate support (3).
Do not place the boiling iron (8) on the steam pipe (7) or on the
power cord. Ensure that the cord doesn't come into contact with
the boiling plate (9).
• Set the desired ironing temperature
by turning the thermostat (11) on
the appropriate position (see table
on page 75).
If you don't know the
fabric of the piece of
clothing to iron, to iron
an hidden corner in order
to understand the best
temperature is advised. Silk,
wool and synthetic fibres:
iron the piece of clothing
upside-down to avoid shiny
halos.
Start ironing pieces of
clothing which require a
lower ironing temperature,
like synthetic fibres.
• Connect the power plug to the power socket making sure
that the mains power corresponds to the one indicated
on the appliance rating label.
• Press the ON button (a).
• The plate (9) starts to heat up.
