Installation
1. Selecting Channels
The camera and the monitor MUST be set to the same channel.
1) Select the channel for the camera with the selector at the back of the camera (see fig. 5 original manual).
Remove the rubber plug and move the selector with a screwdriver.
2) Select the channel to be displayed on the monitor by moving the appropriate DIP switch at the back to the ON
position ( see figure 6 original manual). Switches 1 through 4 are used to select channels, DIP switch 5
determines the dwell time when several channels are selected.
2. Installing the Monitor

2.1 Power Supply

The monitor uses (C-)batteries or mains power.
Loading batteries:
1) Open the battery compartment in the direction of the arrow in figure 7 (original manual).
2) Respect the polarity indications as in figure 7 (original manual).
3) Close the battery compartment.
4) Turn the monitor on and adjust the volume (see fig. 9 original manual).
REMARK: remove the batteries in case of prolonged inactivity and never mix old and new batteries.
Connecting the AC power adapter:
1) Plug one end of the included 13.5V power adapter into the back of the monitor and the other end in a wall outlet
(see fig. 8 original manual).
2) Turn the monitor on and adjust the volume (see fig. 9 original manual).

2.2 Fine-Tuning

1) Adjust the picture if necessary with the V-HOLD, CONTRAST & BRIGHTNESS buttons at the back of the monitor.
2) Put the monitor in a suitable location and aim at the antenna at the front of the camera (see original manual figure
10).
3. Installing the Camera
The camera can be mounted against the wall or on the ceiling. Test the reception at the mounting location prior to the
actual installation. Have someone hold the camera in place while someone else checks the reception quality on the
monitor. Read "Troubleshooting" on p. 3-4 in case or interference or other problems. Choose a different mounting
location if the problems persist.

3.1 Mounting the Camera

1) Drill 2 holes 86mm apart as in figures 11 & 13 (original manual).
2) Use the included plugs and screws to mount the camera against a wall or on the ceiling.
REMARK (see original manual, figure 12): the mounting bracket has a hole to thread the wire through. Pull the cable
through the hole and run it along the left or right guiding slot. Do not forget to break off the precut section on the left-
or right-hand side of the bracket's base. You could also drill a hole in the wall behind the camera to feed the cable
through. In this case you should use a plastic bag to protect the connector from damage.
