Transport and storage
- Always store in the original packaging.
- Protect from damage.

Using the element change aid

The filter is pressurised!
 The filter may only be opened after the pressure has
been relieved.
Danger if unauthorised work is carried out on the
element change aid!
 All maintenance work must be carried out by a suitably
trained person!
 The element change aid must not be modified in any
way.
 The element change aid must be visually inspected for
damage before it is used.
 The element change aid must not exhibit any cracks,
incisions or other forms of damage.
 Check the belts for kinking and make sure they are
correctly positioned in the components.
 Make sure the element change aid is free of chips.
 Never use the element change aid overhead.
Danger of scalding!
 Hot fluid may leak during work on the filter!
 Wait for the fluid to cool down before replacing the
element.

Attaching the belt system
Attach the belt system above the filter
housing so that it fits as tightly as possible.
Make sure the attachment points have no
sharp edges and that the straps cannot slip or
work loose.
 Attach both carabiners (1) securely.
 Either hook the carabiners to the attachment points
directly or loop the straps (2) around these points first
and then hook on the carabiners (1).
