POSITIONING AND STARTING
Follow the following precautions when positioning the appliance:
• Put the appliance on a horizontal surface.
• Put the appliance so that it is protected against overheating.
• Plug the power cord into the power socket.
Warnings:
Electric shock hazard in case of use of the
appliance with damaged power cord. Nev-
er start the appliance with damaged power
cord.
Warnings:
Blades are very sharp, to prevent injury,
handle them with extreme care, during the
cleaning phase of the graduated container.
Even when not in use, unplug the appliance before mounting or re-
moving the single parts or before cleaning.
• Connect the plug to the electrical socket, making certain that the mains
power corresponds to the indications on the tag on the back of the
appliance.
• Before plugging the appliance in, make sure the motor unit (5) is posi-
tioned on a plane.
• Insert the graduated container (3) into the motor unit (5) and rotate
it clockwise until the reference notch engages with the groove on the
motor unit (5) (Fig. B).
Before using the appliance, make sure the blender is properly assem-
bled.
• Lift up the lid (2), Fig. C.
• Cut food in small cubes and insert them into the graduated container
(3).
• Insert the lid (2).
• Plug in appliance.
• Rotate the knob (6) to the required speed.
Do not exceed the max. operating time of 20 seconds.
