Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Lindy USB 3.1 Type C Notebook Docking Station. This product has been
designed to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free
lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
The Lindy USB 3.1 Docking Station features all the interfaces needed for a standard workstation making
it a great space saving addition to any hot desk environment. By connecting a single USB 3.1 Type C
cable to a notebook you can quickly access a variety of essential ports, which in turn can be connected to
one or two displays, keyboard, mouse, speakers/headset, external storage and LAN. The same USB Type
C cable is also able to provide power to compatible notebooks using USB power delivery. The Docking
Station can be connected to either a single HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA display, or if required, to two of
these displays (at a reduced resolution).

Installation
Connect the Notebook Docking Station to your computer, using the supplied USB 3.1 Type C cable. Any
required drivers will be automatically downloaded from the internet.
Connecting Devices to the Docking Station:
Displays: Using an appropriate HDMI and/or DisplayPort and/or VGA cable as required, connect your
monitor/s to the HDMI/DP/VGA port on the docking station.
Ethernet: Use a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable to connect the docking station to your network
USB: Up to five USB devices can be connected to the Docking Station
Using either a USB Type A cable (4 ports), with 2 USB Type A ports (next to the headset and host
port) supporting BC 1.2 standard for faster charging of mobile devices
Using a USB Type C cable (1 port, for data and Power Delivery)
Audio: Front stereo port supports both microphone and headphone, rear stereo port supports headphone
& speaker box.
