beep signal becomes, the closer you are to

Press button A: Switch on the equipment
Press buttons C + A: Call up the menu and
select a function and subfunction (see 6.4)
Press button G if necessary: Select the refe-
rence point on the equipment (see 6.6)
Caution!
The desired length, in this case the adjacent
side (b), and the opposite side (a) must be at
right-angles to each other (see Fig. 11).
Important!
Only the hypotenuse (c) is measured. The
angle between lengths (c) and (b) is auto-
matically measured in the background. The
value which is then displayed is the resultant
calculated adjacent side (b).
