INITIAL OPERATION

The camera can be operated with batteries (AA batteries) or
with a suitable mains adapter. A memory card must be used
to store data.
NOTICE
When the mains adapter is plugged in, the batteries are
mechanically switched off to prevent the batteries from
charging. Simultaneous operation is not possible.

Batteries and mains adapter are not included.

INSERTING BATTERIES

1. Open the latches (2) and the camera.
2. Put the camera in front of you so that the keypad (12) is
on the left side.
3. To open the battery compartment (8), press the upper tab
down slightly and lift the cover.
4. Insert a total of eight AA batteries according to their
polarity (+/-) into the battery compartment.
WARNING
Make sure that the polarity of the batteries is correct to
avoid leakage or explosion of the batteries and possible
damage to persons or the camera.
NOTICE
Do not mix old batteries with new batteries and remove
used batteries from the camera.
5. Replace the cover and let the upper tab audibly click into
place.
The camera is ready for operation.
