STEAMAX P.228 – EXPLANATIONS TO THE VAPING MODES
VW Mode (Variable Wattage)
When set in VW mode, the device can support a coil whose resistance is within the range of 0.1 ohm and 3.5 ohm. In VW mode the power
output can be adjusted – according to the used coil – from 1 W to 228 W, as described on the previous page.
TC Mode (Temperature Control | Variable Wattage)
When set in TC-Ni, TC-Ti and TC-SS mode, the device can separately support Nickel 200, Titanium and 316 Stainless Steel coils. When set
in one of the TC modes, the device supports a coil resistance within the range of 0.05 ohm and 1.5 ohm. In TC mode the vaping tempera-
ture can be adjusted – according to the used coil – in a range between 200°F and 600°F, as described on the previous page.
TCR Mode (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance)
In TCR mode (M1, M2, M3), the device can support different temperature control coils with resistances between 0.05 ohm and 1.5 ohm
within different TCR value ranges. You can set the TCR at different values within proper range. The vaping temperature can be adjusted –
according to the used coil – in a range between 200°F and 600°F.
Please note that the resistance of the atomizer coil must be set before the first using in Temperature Control mode.
