ADJUSTING THE TEMPERATURE
The hair straightener has an electronic temperature adjustment system. This allows the plate
temperature to be adjusted according to the type of hair and the desired style.
150-160°C: recommended for thin hair
170-190°C: recommended for medium hair
200-230°C: recommended for thick hair
It is recommended to start styling by setting the lowest temperature and gradually increasing it
according to the desired style.
IMPORTANT! RISK OF SCALDING
During use, the external parts marked in Figure 1 become very hot. Be particularly careful not to
place these parts in contact with the skin or fingers while using the straightener.

Before applying or removing the shells (12, 13, 14, 15), make sure the straightener is cold.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
The straightener switches off automatically 1 hour after being switched on.

Clean the surface of the plates (11), the heated bodywork (2) and the handle with a soft,
damp cloth.
ATTENTION! Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing
the appliance!

STORING AND CARING FOR THE PRODUCT

ATTENTION! Once you have finished using the hair straightener, make sure it
has cooled down completely before putting it away. Never wrap the power
supply cord (6) around the appliance.
The product is packaged in recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the
environmental protection standards.
The appliance must be disposed of in compliance with the provisions of EU standard
2002/96/EC at the end of its life cycle.
This regards recycling useful substances in the appliance, which reduces environmental
impact. For further information contact the local waste authority or the appliance retailer.
To request repairs or purchase spare parts please contact IMETEC's authorised customer
service centre on the Number below or via the website.
The appliance is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. For details, read the attached warranty
sheet.
Failure to comply with the instructions for use and maintenance provided in this manual will
render the manufacturer's warranty null and void.
