2. On the line indicating the lower edge of the extraction hood, use a pencil and
carefully mark the centre on the wall.

3. Press inwards the side sliding levers on the underside of the hood and open
the filter flap.
4. Hold the extraction hood below the wall unit so that the centre of the
extractor hood and the vertical guide line are in alignment (only for
circulating air mode: The hood should protrude to the front of the wall
unit so that the upper ventilation slots are not covered).
5. From the inside of the extraction hood, a second person should mark
the four holes to be drilled on the unit (only for extraction mode with
air discharge upwards: also mark the air discharge aperture).
6. At the 4 marked locations, drill the holes diameter ø 3 mm, in the unit.
7. As necessary, cut out the marked air discharge aperture in the unit.
For this, use a wood drill and drill a ø 8 mm hole in the inside of the
circle.
Use a jig saw and cut out the circle.
Use sandpaper to smooth the edges.
8. Attach the extraction hood using 4 screws 11 suitable for the material and
thickness of the base of the wall unit.
9. Close the filter flap and press the two sliding levers outwards.
10. For extraction mode: push the exhaust air hose (not in the scope of
delivery) onto the exhaust air connection 2 and attach using a hose clamp.
11. Insert the mains plug into the socket.
