Intended Use

The machine is intended for making separating cuts
and cutouts in wood, plastic, metal, ceramic plates
and rubber while resting firmly on the workpiece. It
is suitable for straight and curved cuts with mitre an-
gles to 45°.
The saw blade recommendations are to be observed
Inserting/Replacing the Saw
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
plug from the socket!
The machine is equipped with a quick-clamping de-
vice. This makes possible easy and quick changing
of the saw blade without additional tools.
Before changing saw blade 9, set adjusting lever for
pendulum lift 7 to step III.

Initial Operation

Always use the correct supply voltage: The power
supply voltage must match the information quoted
on the tool identification plate. Tools with a rating of
230 V can also be connected to a 220 V supply.
ON/OFF switch
Switching on: Slide ON/OFF switch 4 fowards
(position I = ON).
Switching off: Slide ON/OFF switch 4 backwards
(position 0 = OFF).
Stroke rate preselection
The required stroke rate can be preselected (also
during operation) using the thumbwheel 2.
1 – 2 = low stroke rate
3 – 4 = medium stroke rate
5 – 6 = medium stroke rate
The stroke rate required depends upon the material
and the working conditions. The optimal setting can
be determined in practice.
