Before Initial Use

CAUTION!
■ The device may contain production residues. Clean it thoroughly before you fi rst use
it.
■ Make sure that during the wash cycle the discharge hose is always secured vertically
on the suspension device.
■ Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items
Supplied and Device Overview" chapter) and transport damage. If you fi nd any
damage to the components, do not use them (!); instead, contact our customer
service department.
2. Remove any fi lms or stickers that may be present from the device.
3. Clean the device with a damp, soft cloth.
4. Place the device on a dry, water-resistant and fl at surface a suffi cient distance away
from fl ammable objects. Please make sure that the device is not accessible to chil-
dren!
5. Attach the discharge hose (3) using the hook to the suspension device (2).
6. Fill the washing drum (4) up to the MAX marking (approx. 10 litres) with clear water
at a temperature of no more than 60°C (see the "Use" chapter, "Set-Up, Filling and
Connection" section).
7. Close the lid (7).
8. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed 220 – 240 V plug socket.
