9 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Problems
a- The pump does not start.
b- The pump starts but there is
no or little output.
c- The pump stops during
operation (the thermal circuit
breaker has stopped the pump
following overheating).
For any other anomaly, please contact our after sales service. For reasons of safety, only the EXEL Gsa after sales service is
authorized to dismantle the pump.
10 - GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed for two years against material or manufacturing defect, from the date of purchase of the device by the
user, on presentation of the purchase invoice or sales receipt only. This guarantee consists of repairing the defective device.
Our guarantee excludes:
- part breakage due to frost;
- unauthorized dismantling of the pump;
- wear parts;
- modified equipment;
- equipment used which is against the recommendations given in these instructions;
- abusive use of the equipment;
- damage due to negligence: impact, falling...
Our guarantee does not cover accidents due to the deterioration or defective and abnormal use of the equipment.
Causes
1- The water has not reached the level at
which the pump is started.
2- The float (3) cannot move freely.
3- The float (3) does not work.
4- No power.
5- There is dirt in the turbine housing.
1- The suction chamber is blocked by dirt.
2- The discharge pipe is blocked.
1- The power supply does not comply with
pump motor data.
2- A solid object has blocked the hydraulic
installation.
3- The pump has been running with water
which is too hot.
4- The pump has been running dry.
5- It has been running on drying setting for
too long.
ENGLISH
1- Adjust the float (3) to lower the pump
starting level.
2- Reposition the pump so that the float has
sufficient space to move freely.
3- Check the float manually by lifting it.
4- Make sure the plug is correctly inserted in
the socket.
Check the circuit breakers and electrical
connections outside the pump.
5- Disconnect the pump, remove the base (see
chapter 8) and rinse the suction chamber.

2- Take off the discharge pipe and clear it.
Disconnect the pump, eliminate the cause of
overheating, wait for the pump to cool down,
and reconnect it.
