Installing TheAVA-1502AP Card
To install the SCSI host adapter card supplied with the Windows 95 interface kit into your
computer, ensure that you have a Phillips screwdriver (+ shaped tip) at hand and follow the
instructions provided below.
Your computer may require specialized tools. Consult with the vender of your com
puter or a qualified technician if you are not sure about the required tools before
attempting the installation.
SCSI host adapter cards are precision components that are sensitive to discharges
of static electricity and rough handling. You must strictly follow the precautions
listed in the preceding Before You Begin section (p. 5).
Turn off the computer's power switch, disconnect the power cord and detach all of
the devices connected to your computer.
Remove the computer case.
Refer to the instructions that accompanied the computer for the correct
procedures to remove the computer case.

Remove the cover plate from the ISA bus slot in which you will install the SCSI host
adapter card.
Screw
Be careful not to lose the screw
that fastened the cover plate
because you will need it to
secure the SCSI host adapter
card. Keep the cover plate in a
safe place for future use.

Carefully but firmly insert the SCSI host adapter card into the ISA bus slot.
