The off-camera shoe cord is an exclusive acces-
sory for EOS series cameras* which allows an ex-

ternal flash to be used away from the camera. The

flash can be located as far as 0.6 m/2 ft away from
the camera and still perform all the automatic func-
tions possible with flash photography.
The adapter has a locking pin to prevent it from
dropping off the flash.
* EOS 600/630 and EOS RT cannot be used.

connector (for the flash). For proper electrical

A tripod socket is provided on the bottom of the
connector for the flash.
® Notes
For proper AF auxiliary light operation, direct
the optical axes of both the lens in use and
the flash toward the same point.
Be sure to turn the flash's main switch off be-
fore connecting or disconnecting operation.
® The off-camera shoe cord can also be used for
the camera T90 and the flash 300TL combina-
tion.

Sabot auxiliaire
Cet accessoire est exclusivement concu pour les
appareils de la série EOS", il permet l'extension du
flash jusqu'a 60 cm du boitier, pour réaliser un
éclairage indirect. Toutes les fonctions automati-
ques sont conservées.
L'adaptateur est pourvu d'une cheville de fixation
pour éviter que le flash ne tombe.
* Sauf avec EOS600/630 et EOS RT.
® Compatible avec les flashes: Speedlite 160E,
200E, 300EZ, 420EZ, 430EZ et 480EG.
) Glissez le sabot pilote sur la griffe porte-flash du

boitier. Assurez vous de bon contact en in-
sérant le sabot a fond dans la griffe, puis ser-
rez la molette de blocage.
2 ) Glissez le flash dans le sabot auxiliaire en pre-
nant soin de bien le positioner pour assurer un
bon contact, et serrez la molette de blocage.
Sous cette griffe un filetage est destinée a l'ins-
tallation du flash sur un trépied ou une pince.
Pour obtenir un fonctionnement correct
l'éclair auxiliaire AF, dirigez les axes optiques
de l'objectif utilisé et du flash vers le méme
point.
Mettez hors circuit le flash et l'appareil pen-
dant les opérations de connection.
Ce cordon est compatible avec l'appareil T90 et
le flash 300TL.
Reportez-vous au mode d'emploi du flash utili-
