1. Introduction
The ventilation unit contributes to a healthy and comfortable indoor climate through continuous,
controlled ventilation. This requires a minimum ventilation flow rate. For this reason, the unit is not
equipped with an on/off switch.
The user must ensure that the plug is always correctly connected and that the socket is live.
The system is a balanced ventilation unit with heat recovery (HRVU), which supplies fresh outside
air and removes polluted indoor air, while recovering heat from the extracted air. This guarantees
energy-efficient and healthy air quality in the home.
2. Safety
Only a professional installer is qualified to open the ventilation unit. The installer must use the
appropriate tools for each operation. The ventilation unit must be opened by a professional installer.
The electronic components of the ventilation unit may be live. In the event of a fault,
contact a professional installer and only allow trained personnel to carry out repairs.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are
supervised or have been given clear instructions on how to use the appliance safely and understand
the risks involved.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorised service centre
or a qualified technician to avoid any risk of danger.
The user is responsible for the correct and safe disposal of the ventilation unit at the end of its service
life, in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations. The appliance can also be returned to an
authorised collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
