14. In case of ingestion of a cell or battery, seek
medical assistance promptly. Swallowing lithium
coin cells or batteries can cause chemical burns,
perforation of soft tissue, and in severe cases
can cause death. They must be removed
immediately if swallowed.
15. Do not allow children to replace batteries without
adult supervision.
16. Do not force discharge batteries. Do not deform
batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
17. Exhausted batteries should be immediately
removed from equipment and properly disposed
of. When discharged batteries are kept in the
equipment for a long time, electrolyte leakage
can occur causing damage to the equipment
and/or personal injury.
18. A lithium battery with a damaged container
should not be exposed to water.
19. Store unused batteries in their original packaging
away from metal objects. If already unpacked,
do not mix or jumble batteries.
20. Do not use modified or damaged batteries.
21. Be aware of the risk of terminals of the
battery-operated appliance or battery being
short-circuited by metal objects.
