Operating the FM-Transmitter.
1. Inserting the battery
First, remove the cover of the battery
compartment. Insert an alkaline battery in
accordance with the polarity (+/-) as shown
in the battery compartment. Close the battery
compartment again.
2. Switching the device on or off
Hold the On/Off button for approx. 2 seconds
to switch the device on. When the device is
running, the last frequency set is shown. The
device now automatically checks whether
there is a music signal and shows its level.
Press the On/Off button again for approx. 2
seconds to switch the device off again.
If there is no music signal and no button is
pressed in the meantime, the FM-Transmitter
is deactivated after approx. 1 minute.
3. Setting the input level
The FM-Transmitter
display to ensure that the music is
transmitted to the radio at the best signal
quality.
The following explanations describe the
individual letters in the display:
Low input level;
L
the signal is too weak
Excessive input level;
the signal is too strong
M Optimalinput level
Adjust the volume of the audio device until
the optimal input level is displayed.
"RTR-IOO" has a level
4. Program memory
Proceed as follows to save
Set the required frequency using the
Up/Down buttons.
Now press the On/Off button briefly until
the MEM symbol flashes (Save).
Select one of the six station settings (1-6)
using the Up/Down buttons.
Press the On/Off button again to save the
selected position.
If you want to switch between the individual
stations press the On/Off button briefly.
Connecting the FM-Transmitter "RTR-IOO"
to the radio:
Place the FM-Transmitter in the vicinity of the
radio/hifi system or the antenna.
A. Radios with auto-scan / station search
First find a free frequency on your radio
(e.g. 93.6 MHz).
Remember the frequency set.
Now switch on the FM-Transmitter
set the required frequency. Connect it to
the playback device (e.g. MP3 player,
mobile phone etc.) and play the music.
Start the station search function
radio device to find the frequency set.
You may have to make fine adjustments to
the FM-Transmitter or the frequency
setting.
Important: This distance to the nearest
radio station must be at least 0.2 MHz.
