Intended use
The BC3615LA charger has been specifically designed for the charging
of lead batteries in Esprit and e-fix eco models and must not be used
for any other purpose. The charger is designed for stationary use and
must not be carried on the wheelchair. The device can be used any-
where in the world, as it adjusts itself automatically to the respective
mains voltage. If necessary, connect a suitable mains adapter to the
charger plug.
Start-up
• Connect the charger adapter to the charger socket of the battery.
• Connect the mains plug to the socket.
• The charger is automatically started.
• Observe operating mode indicator.

• When the operating mode indicator indicates that the battery is
charged, disconnect the on-board power plug from the socket. If
necessary, the charging process can be interrupted at any time.
• Disconnect the charger adapter from the battery.
Operating mode indicator
The BC3615LA charger is equipped with an operating mode indicator
showing the progress of the charging process.
• Indicator is red: The battery is deep-discharged or connected with
reversed polarity. Contact your competent service partner.
• Indicator is yellow: The charger is ready for use.
• Indicator is green and flashing: Charging is in progress.
• Indicator is green: Charging is complete.

Care and maintenance
The device is maintenance-free. If necessary, clean the housing with
a moist cloth. Do not use aggressive detergents. Protect the charger
adapter and the mains plug from dirt.
