3.2 Putting into operation
First check that the switch is connected to the heating pad at the plug-in con-
nection. Plug the power cord into the mains outlet.
3.3 Selecting temperature
The fastest way to heat up the heating pad is to first set the switch to the highest setting. A lower set-
ting can be selected later if required.
3.4 Temperature settings
Level:
0 Off
1 Minimum heat
2 Medium heat
3 Maximum heat
3.5 Automatic switch-off function
The heating pad switches off automatically after approx. 90 minutes. The illuminated tem-
perature setting display then starts to flash. To switch on the heating pad again, first set to
"0" and then after approximately 5 seconds select the desired temperature setting. Switch
off the heating pad (0) or pull the plug out of the mains socket if you are not going to use
the heating pad after the automatic switch-off.
3.6 Fast heating HK 35, 63
These heating pads have a fast heating function which allows them to heat up quickly within
the first 10 minutes.
3.7 Additional information for HK 63
The heating pad is fitted with 6 integrated permanent magnets that produce a homogenous magnetic
field for magnetic field applications.

4. Cleaning and Care

• Before cleaning the heating pad, always unplug it from the mains.
• The textile cover can be cleaned according to the symbols on the label, and for this purpose must
first be removed. Also clean the plastic casing of the heating pad from time to time with a damp
cloth.
• Please note that the actual heating pad may not be machine-washed, spun or machine d ried,
chemically cleaned, wrung out, pressed or ironed.
• Smaller stains can be removed using a cloth or moist sponge together with a little liquid detergent
for delicate fabrics if necessary.
• Only use the heating pad again once the heating pad and cover are completely dry.
5. Storage
If you are not going to use the heating pad for some time, we recommend storing it in its original pa-
ckaging in a dry place without weighing it down. To avoid breaking the heating pad, do not place any
objects on top of it whilst storing.
Allow the heating pad to cool down beforehand.
6. Disposal
Please dispose of the blanket in accordance with the directive 2002/96/EG – WEEE (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any queries, please refer to the local authorities
responsible for waste disposal.
