To prevent t he bat t ery from becom ing t ot ally discharged during long per iods of inact ivit y it m ust be
disconnect ed, fully charged and frost - proof st ored.
Please check r egularly t hat t he rollers of t he drive unit s ar e free of any dirt , or debr is t hat m ay hav e been
picked up from t he road.
Regular ly clean t he drive unit s w it h a wat er hose t o dissolve m ud et c.
Please check r egularly t he dist ance bet w een t he rollers and t he t yres. I n t he neut ral ( fully disengaged) posit ion
t his m ust be about 20m m .
Once a year have your caravan m anoeuvring syst em m aint ained and visually inspect ed. This inspect ion m ust
include all t he bolt / nut connect ions, t he cables and elect rical connect ions and lubr icat ion of m ovable
part s/ j oint s.

TROUBLE SH OOTI N G
Should your m anoeuvr ing sy st em fail t o operat e, please check t he following:
Un it fa ils t o ope r a t e , doe s n ot fu n ct ion a t a ll:
Make sur e t hat t he bat t ery power isolat ion swit ch ( 29) is t urned on.
Check t he cable- connect ion bet ween t he car avan bat t ery and t he cont rol unit .
Check t he fuse ( 80A) in t he red posit ive bat t ery cable ( Fig. 6) . I f t he fuse is blow n, it m ust be replaced wit h a

fuse of t he sam e value ( 80A) . Never " br idge" t he fuse ( if needed cont act your EN supplier ) . To replace t he

fuse, first disconnect t he posit ive ( + ) power cable from t he bat t ery. Than release t he m ount ing screws t hat hold
t he fuse ( Fig. 6A) , replace t he fuse ( Fig. 6B) , and finally t ight en t he screws securely. Close t he housing of t he
fuse and connect t he posit iv e ( + ) pow er cable again t o t he bat t ery. The sy st em is ready again for use.
Check t he bat t ery of t he rem ot e cont rol handset . I f em pt y , renew t he 9V bat t ery.
Caravan bat t er y could be em pt y. I f em pt y , recharge com plet ely or renew caravan bat t ery before t aking any
furt her act ion.
Caravan bat t er y could be overloaded. Check your charging equipm ent and t ry t o dischar ge t he bat t ery by
connect ing/ using a light or any ot her load. I f t his does not give any result , renew caravan bat t ery before t aking
any furt her act ion.
Check t he dist ance bet w een t he r em ot e cont rol and t he caravan is not m ore t han 5 m et res. I f t her e is no signal
bet w een t he rem ot e cont rol handset and t he cont rol unit , t he m anoeuvring syst em w ill not funct ion at all and
t he gr een LED on handset is blinking.
Check if t here is any dist or t ion signal ( ot her t ransm it t er, high power cables, Wifi et c.) t hat dist urbs a good
com m unicat ion bet ween rem ot e cont rol handset and cont rol unit . I f t her e is no good com m unicat ion bet ween
t he cont rol unit and rem ot e cont rol handset , t he m anoeuvring syst em will not funct ion and t he gr een LED on
rem ot e cont rol handset w ill blink.
I n general, all error m essages will reset aut om at ically aft er one m inut e. I f t his is not t he case, reset t he
elect ronics of t he m anoeuvring syst em by swit ching off t he m anoeuvr ing syst em v ia t he isolat ion swit ch and t he
rem ot e cont rol handset for at least 15 seconds and t hen t urn t hem on again.

Caravan bat t er y could be low - wit h t he rollers engaged. Check t he volt age drop on t he caravan bat t ery , if t his
drops well below 10 volt s, charge or renew caravan bat t ery
Caravan bat t er y could be overloaded. Check your charging equipm ent and t ry t o dischar ge t he bat t ery by
connect ing/ using a light or ot her load. I f t his does not giv e any result , renew caravan bat t ery before t aking any
furt her act ion.
