nylon nut and bolt ( fact ory fit t ed) ont o t he cross act uat ion bar- connect ors ( Fig. 1 & Fig. 1A) . Nut s m ust be no
m ore t han finger- t ight at t his st age.
Make sur e t hat t he m ain cross bar ( 3) and t he cross act uat ion cent re bar ( 4) are posit ioned in t he m iddle of t he
caravan ( t he cent r e of t he bar is m ark ed) .
Wit h t he m ain assem bly is loosely fit t ed ont o t he chassis, slide t he w hole assem bly along t he chassis unt il t he
roller s are 20m m away from t he surface of t he cent re each t yre ( Fig. 10) . Two 20m m spacers ( 30) are provided.

Fully t ight en all t he ny lon nut s on bot h clam ping assem blies ( Fig. 2) . First t ight en t he diagonal placed M10x60
bolt s wit h a 20Nm t orque, and t hen M10x50 bolt s t o a 40Nm t orque.
Re- check t he dist ance of 20m m from t he rollers t o t he t ir es, t he posit ion of t he alum inium rollers in addit ion t o
t he surface of t he t ir e and finally t he dist ance bet w een t he plast ic gear cover ( Fig. 8) and t he t ir es & shock
absorbers ( > 10m m ) . The weight of t he caravan m ust y be on t he w heels when doing t his. I f necessary , loosen
t he bolt s and r e- adj ust t he posit ion of t he assem bly.

Rem ove bat t ery cable t er m inals and disconnect any ex t er nal elect r ical power before st art ing work.
Find a suit able place for t he elect ronic cont rol unit ( 32) , such as a st orage area, under a seat or a bed. Make
sure t his place is dry and close t o t he bat t er y ( 40cm t o 60cm ) . The elect r onic cont rol unit can be m ount ed
vert ically on a side wall or be m ount ed flat . When m ount ed vert ically, t he connect ions m ust point downwards t o
avoid any shor t - circuit s by obj ect s falling int o.
Fix t he elect ronic cont rol unit securely int o posit ion w it h t wo screw s M5x 40 ( 35) . Not e: if t he provided screw s
are not of suit able lengt h or t ype for t he desired locat ion/ m at erial please subst it ut e t hese as appropr iat e.
Drill a 25m m hole t hrough t he floor of t he caravan approxim at ely 150m m cent rally in front of t he cont r ol unit
( 32) t er m inals.

negat ive) .
