SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product (gained from repeated use) replace strict adherence to
the tool safety rules. If you use this tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury.
1.
Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a specific function. Do not modify or alter this
tool or use it for an unintended purpose.
WARNING! All persons not involved in the loading process must stand clear of the loading ramps and truck / trailer.
Make sure no pets are nearby.
WARNING! Do not exceed the ramps' maximum load capacity of 1,000 lb.
2.
Check for damaged parts. Before using the ramps, any part that appears damaged should be carefully
checked to determine that it would operate properly and perform its intended function. Replace or repair damaged
ramps immediately.
3.
Make proper ground contact and a proper contact point on the vehicle or trailer being loaded onto. Use
your ramps on a solid, level, flat, dry surface. Make sure that the tongue edge fully contacts the vehicle.
WARNING! Remove tailgate before loading onto a pick-up truck.
4.
Always use safety straps (included) or chains (not included) to securely fasten the ramps to the vehicle.
Straps or chains will help to prevent the ramps from slipping off of the vehicle.
5.
Keep the ramps clean. Before each use, clean dirt, oil, or any debris off of the ramps.
6.
Make certain that no persons or pets are under the ramps or vehicle during loading.
7.
Be aware of dynamic loading. Sudden load movement may briefly exceed the load capacity, causing
product failure.
8.
Carefully roll or winch equipment up or down the ramps. Never drive or ride your equipment while loading
or unloading.
9.
Make sure that the ramps are aligned with the wheels of the equipment being loaded or unloaded.
10.
Always load or unload on a solid, level surface with the vehicle in gear, the parking brake engaged, and the
engine of the vehicle turned off.
11.
Make sure the wheels of the equipment being loaded or unloaded are centered on the ramps.
12.
Maximum recommended height is 30 in.
