ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace the missing part before operating. Failure to do so
could result in a malfunction and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage. Make sure that all items in the Parts
List are included.
ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
NOTE: Tools required to assemble the ramps: 9/16 in. socket with extension bar and ratchet handle (not included),
adjustable wrench (not included).
1. Affix the Ramp Plates (#2) to the Steel Ramps (#1)
as shown in Fig. 1. Refer to the Parts Breakdown
/Parts List (page 8) for the order in which
the hardware (nuts, bolts, washers) should be placed.
OPERATION
1.
Ensure you are loading on a hard, level and stable surface. The vehicle you are loading into must be parked,
with the emergency/parking brake in "Park" and the engine off. Unfold and place the lip of the ramp against
the back of the vehicle.

Secure the ramp to the vehicle using a safety strap (included) or chain (not included), as shown in Fig. 2, Fig.
3, and Fig. 4.

3. Once the safety strap or chain is secure, test the ramp by pulling backwards on it. Make sure it
does not slide back or disengage from the loading surface.
4. Once the ramp is secure and the area is safe to proceed with loading, move the vehicle to be
loaded between the ramps and centre the load between both ramps.
5. Proceed with loading the vehicle, making sure the ramp is sustaining the load and not bowing from
the weight.
6. Continue until the vehicle is fully loaded. Secure the brake and tie down as needed.
7. Unhook the safety strap or chain. Store the straps or chain and ramps in a clean, dry, and safe
place where they will not be damaged.
