LENGTH ADJUSTMENT:
-
Front part
To adjust the length of the front part you have to unlock the front lever (6) and
to choose the position of the front part based of the marking laser on the base
plate (5). Once the right position chose, the lever comes back to his position
naturally by using a spring.
You can verify the position of the front lever by seeing the pictogram (lock,
unlock) marked on the base plate (5).
-
Rear part
To adjust the length of the rear part you have to use the heel piece adjustment
screw (7). You can choose the position by using the marking laser present on
the rail adjustment (8).
To avoid damage on the adjustment system, think of torque limiter
on the screwdriver.
GAP BETWEEN HEELPIECE AND BOOT
A 4mm gap must be respected between the boot insert and the heelpiece
housing.
This 4mm gap is set with the spacer provided with the bindings.
TOE PIECE
The GUIDE bindings are equipped with a locking system on each toe piece.
This locker can be in two positions: either WALK (locked) or SKI (Unlocked).
When the toe piece is stepped-into, it is automatically in ski mode.
CARRYING AND STORAGE
During all the time of carrying, putting off skins, relaxing time on summit,
bindings must always be in WALK mode in order to limit ice storage under the
toe piece. Otherwise, it could be more difficult to step in.
