Important Safety Instructions

Daily Use

Do not touch the brush roller while
it is rotating.
Do not use the hand-held Turbo-
brush at head level. Long hair, ties,
scarves etc. could be sucked in and
become entangled in the brush roller.
Keep hair, loose clothing, curtains,
fingers and all parts of the body
away from openings and moving parts.
Turn off all controls before unplug-
ging. Unplug from the outlet when
not in use and before servicing.
Do not use to pick up flammable or
combustible liquids, such as gaso-
line, or use in areas where they may be
present.
Do not use the hand-held Turbo-
brush on surfaces that can unravel
or be sucked in.
Do not vacuum up liquids or damp
dirt. This will cause damage and
seriously impair the functioning and
electrical safety of the vacuum cleaner
and could create a risk of electric
shock. Freshly shampooed carpets or
upholstery should be completely dry
before they are vacuumed up.
Do not vacuum up items which are
heavy, hard or have sharp edges.
Do not pick up anything that is bur-
ning or smoking, such as cigaret-
tes, matches, or hot ashes, to avoid the
risk of fire.

Disposing of an old appliance
Before discarding an old applian-
ce, the power cord should be re-
moved. Unplug the vacuum. Cut the
power cord off the appliance as close
to the vacuum as possible and cut the
plug off the cord. The plug cut from the
cord should be disabled and properly
discarded. Under no circumstance
should this plug be inserted into a so-
cket (electric shock hazard.)
The manufacturer cannot be held li-
able for damage or injury caused by
non-compliance with these Impor-
tant Safety instructions.
