OPEARTION
1.
When the engine is started and the voltage of the start (main) batteryis
higher than the cut-in volts, the isolator keepsengaging, the two
batteries are chargedsimultaneously.Theunit indicator (LED) is on.
2.
When the engine is stopped, the batteries are no longer being charged
by the alternator, and the loadsconnectedto the batteries will beginto
depletethem. The unit indicator (LED) is on.
3.
When the voltage drops below cut-out volts for 5 seconds, the isolator
senses it and disengages, separating both batteries. This can save the
power of your start (main) batteryfrom beingdrained by over loads on
the battery. The unit indicator (LED) is off.
4.
When the vehicle is restarted, the start (main) battery has enough
power to crank the engine, and the engine is poweringthe alternator.
When the start (main) battery has reachedthe cut-in volts, the isolator
will engageagain. Theunit indicator (LED) is on.
