Maintenance
Warning! Do not perform any maintenance on the
equipment while it is under a load.
Warning! Do not modify the product.
Follow the maintenance lubrication and storage instructions
to keep the product in good condition.
Interval
Maintenance
Inspect for damage, wear, broken or
missing parts, and function of the
components.
Daily
Inspect the pump pistons and arms
for signs of rust and corrosion.
Weekly
Lubrication if constant heavy use.
Monthly
Lubrication if occasionally light use.
Clean the product.
If needed
Lubricate the fittings.
Unbind the product.
5.1 To prevent rust

Without load, lift the equipment to the top position.

Inspect for rust below and behind the lifting points.

Use penetrating lubricant to remove any signs of rust.
5.2 To lubricate the product
Warning! Do not use motor oil, hydraulic brake fluid,
alcohol, glycerin, detergent motor oil, or dirty oil in the
product. Use of non-recommended fluid can cause damage
to the product and sudden and immediate loss of load.
Warning! Only use anti-foaming jack oil.
Warning! Always use a high-grade hydraulic jack oil.
Warning! Dispose hydraulic fluid in accordance with
local regulations.
Cution! Do not use sandpaper or abrasive materials
on the surfaces.
The product will not operate safely without proper
lubrication. Inspect the product before use and lubricate
when needed.

5.2.1 To add jack oil

Position the jack on level ground.

Lower the saddle.

Remove cover plate.

Remove the oil plug. (Figure 5)

Fill the oil case until the oil level is just below the
lower rim of the oil fill hole. (Figure 6)

Attach the oil plug.

Attach the cover plate.

Bleed the hydraulic system. "4.2 To bleed the

5.2.2 To replace jack oil
Warning! Always follow the manufacturers specifica-
tions of the type and level of hydraulic fluid.

Position the jack on level ground.

Lower the saddle.

Remove the cover plate.

Remove the oil plug. (Figure 5)

Turn the product to drain the old oil through the oil fill
hole. (Figure 7)

Fill the oil case until oil level is just below the lower
rim of the oil fill hole. (Figure 6)

Attach the oil plug back.

Attach the cover plate back.

Bleed the hydraulic system. "4.2 To bleed the
hydraulic system" on page 32
5.3 To clean the product
● If the moving parts of the product are jammed, use
cleaning solvent or degreaser to clean the product.
● If the product is rusty, remove the rust with a penetrating
lubricant.
