The pump/system that feeds the gun must be checked periodically in order to guarantee the impossibility to exceed the intended conditions of
use (pressure, temperature, flow rate...)
The gun is equipped with a safety/locking device positioned on the trigger that prevents its involuntary opening. Always make sure to insert it
correctly before storing it.
During use it is absolutely forbidden to lock, with any system, the gun trigger in the operating position.
It is recommended to install filters upstream of the equipment to avoid malfunctions caused by solid parts inside the water.

SAFETY RULES

It is forbidden for children to use the gun and it is allowed only to qualified personnel who know the characteristics and methods of use.
• Before using it, check that there are no people in the range of action of the gun that could be damaged by
direct jet and/or by projected debris. Do not direct the jet towards yourself or other persons and/or animals,
even if at a safe distance and even if the nozzle is not under pressure.
• Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles and non-slip shoes.
• It is necessary to check the sound level emitted by the equipment and the vibrations to which the operator is subjected
(depending on the type of work and the type of installation) and establish, according to the regulations in force, the
maximum exposure times and/or the precautions for use, if any.
ATTENTION: when the gun trigger is activated, the outcome of pressurized liquid causes a sudden counter reaction
force. This force is determined by the joint effect of flow rate and pressure. For the operator's safety, under no
circumstances it must exceed 150N if the lance is not equipped with a backrest and 250N if the lance is equipped with
a backrest (See lance reaction table)
Pressurization, up to the conditions of normal use, must take place with the gun open and facing downwards.
Use only fresh and filtered water. The use of salt water and/or containing solid particles larger than 15µm could cause rapid wear of the gun
internal parts causing incorrect operation and/or hazardous situations.
Never tamper with the gun. Otherwise the manufacturer declines all responsibility for the gun correct operation and safety.
WARNINGS TO AVOID THAT THE RISK OF EXPLOSION BECOMES EFFECTIVE
For safe use of the gun/lance the ambient temperature must be between -20 and + 40°C.
In order to ensure proper grounding of the gun to avoid surface electrostatic charges, it is necessary to use only high-pressure flexible pipes with
antistatic external surface characteristics (resistance R < 10
electrically.
The gun can only be used in ATEX 1-21-2-22 zones that comply with the type of protection indicated on the cover and on the gun body.
Do not use FLAMMABLE/COMBURENT/COMBUSTIBLE fluids or that contain solvents or pure acids! These include for example petrol, paint
thinner or diesel. The mist that can be formed can be highly flammable, explosive and poisonous. Do not use acetone, pure acids and solvents
as they will corrode the materials used in the equipment.
The surface temperature of the gun/lance depends on the temperature of the water used. However, it is important that this does not exceed
70°C. ATTENTION: When the water temperature is close to the maximum value, precautions must be taken to avoid contact with hot
surfaces.
During use the gun/lance must be kept at an adequate distance from the surface being washed and/or from other metal equipment, so that there
is no contact between it and other bodies in order to avoid rubbing or impact.
In case of reduced nozzle flow rate or pressure reduction, check that there is no damage to the equipment, leaks or hindrance and obstructions.
A water temperature control device must be installed on the washing water supply system, upstream of the gun. If a water temperature above
the limit is reached, an automatic pump locking device must be installed.
Periodically clean the gun/lance external surfaces to avoid deposits of dust or dirt.
Lightning protection measures for the system in which the gun is installed are necessary. Lightning can cause stray currents that can spread
and reach the equipment.
GUN/LANCE STOP
ATTENTION Danger of damage! If the water contained in the equipment freezes, it may compromise the correct operation. In case of
long periods of inactivity or if there are no places protected from frost, it is necessary to empty the water and rinse the inside of the
appliance with antifreeze.
ALWAYS EMPTY WATER FROM IT
ATTENTION: this appliance has been designed to be used exclusively with water, possibly emulsified with liquid detergents chosen
with chemical compatibility criteria with the components of the lance and with the surface to be treated (for more information contact
the Technical Office or Customer Service).
The use of unsuitable chemical products could cause incorrect operation and/or dangerous situations. IMPORTANT: use only biodegradable
detergents that comply with the regulations in force in the country of use.
Periodically check that the pressurized elements do not show any breakage and/or leakage; the frequency of these checks is determined by the
actual use.
Maintenance and repairs must be carried out only by qualified and authorized personnel. Use only original spare parts.
