Installation Guide
CAN ICES (A)/NMB (A):
This device contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s)
that comply with Innovation, Science and Economic Development
Canada's licence-exempt RSS(s). Operation is subject to the
following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause interference.
2. This device must accept any interference, including
interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

Before Installation

• Carefully unpack the LightGrid Node. Inspect for defects
before installing.
• Check electrical parameters. Ensure that the luminaire
operating power is below 1000W, and its operating voltage is
within 120 to 277 V AC
• Using the LightGrid Node outside its operating parameters
will void its warranty.
• Validate Fixture Approval with Current. Prior to integrating
the Internal Node in any luminaire, Current strongly
recommends validation testing of the design to ensure
LightGrid performance.

Wiring the Node into a Fixture
A. Required Supplies
• LightGrid Internal Node
• Luminaire
• Two #10 mounting screws of appropriate type and length
(recommended)
B. Following the Wiring Diagram, perform the following steps:
• Connect the L-In (black) of the node to the line (black) of the
fixture.
• Connect L-Out (Red) of the node to AC Line input of the driver.
• Connect the neutral (white) of the node to the neutral (white)
of the fixture.
• Connect the neutral (white) of the LED Driver/HID Ballast to the
neutral (white) of the fixture.
C. For dimmable fixture, please perform the following extra
steps:
• Connect the Dim- (grey or pink) of the node to the negative
dimming wire of the LED Driver/HID Ballast.
• Connect the Dim+ (violet) of the node to the positive dimming
wire of the LED Driver/HID Ballast.

L'émetteur/récepteur exempt de licence contenu dans le présent
appareil est conforme aux CNR d'Innovation, Sciences et
Développement économique Canada applicables aux appareils
radio exempts de licence. L'exploitation est autorisée aux deux
conditions suivantes :
1. L'appareil ne doit pas produire de brouillage;
2. L'appareil doit accepter tout brouillage radioélectrique subi,
même si le brouillage est susceptible d'en compromettre le
fonctionnement.

Avant l'installation
• Déballez le nœud LightGrid avec précautions. Inspectez-le
à fond avant l'installation.
• Vérifiez les paramètres électriques. Assurez-vous que la
puissance du luminaire est en decà de 1000 W et que sa
tension d'opération se situe dans la plage de 120 à 277V CA.
• L'utilisation du nœud LightGrid en dehors de ces
paramètres va annuler la garantie.
• Obtenez de Current l'approbation du luminaire. Avant
d'intégrer le nœud interne à un type de luminaire, Current
recommande fortement un test de validation du concept
pour vérifier la performances de LightGrid.

Câblage du nœud à un appareil
A. Matériel nécessaire
• Nœud interne LightGrid
• Luminaire
• Deux Vis de montage no. 10 de type et de longueur appropriée
(recommandé)
B. En suivant le diagramme de câblage, passez aux étapes
suivantes :
• Raccordez le L-in (noir) du nœud à la ligne (noir) de l'appareil.
• Raccordez le L-Out (rouge) du nœud à la ligne d'alimentation
CA du bloc d'alimentation.
• Raccordez le neutre (blanc) du nœud au neutre (blanc) de
l'appareil.
• Raccordez le neutre (blanc) de l'alimentation de la DEL/balast
HID au neutre (blanc) de l'appareil.
C. Pour des appareils avec gradation, veuillez procéder aux
étapes supplémentaires suivantes :
• Raccordez le Dim- (gris ou rose) du nœud au fil de gradation
négatif de l'alimentation DEL/ballast HID.
• Raccordez le Dim+ (violet) de nœud au fil positif de gradation
de l'alimentation DEL/ballast HID.
