Strobe tuning is the most accurate form of tuning, providing hypersensitive
real-time feedback useful for setting intonation and other times when
extreme tuning precision is desired. A strobe tuner indicates pitch relative
to the displayed note using a moving graphic referred to as a strobe.
The strobe moves to the left to indicate that the string is flat, and to the
right to indicate that the string is sharp. The further the string's pitch is
from the displayed note, the faster the strobe will move. This strobe
motion slows as tuning comes closer to the correct pitch of the
displayed note, and will then remain still when the pitch is within 0.01
cent of the displayed note.

Needle mode provides a quick and easy interface for tuning your
instrument. A needle tuner indicates pitch relative to the displayed note
using a visual needle indicator.
The location of the needle relative to center indicates the string's pitch.
To the left of center indicates that the note is flat, while right of center
indicates that the note is sharp. When the pitch is within 1 cent of the
displayed note, all three center lines will illuminate green.
