WARNING: Some dust contains chemicals known to
State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other
reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
• compounds in fertilizers,
• compounds in insecticides, herbicides and pesticides,
• arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
To reduce your exposure to these chemicals, wear approved
safety equipment such as dust masks that are specially
designed to filter out microscopic particles.
• Avoid prolonged contact with dust from power
sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other
construction activities. Wear protective clothing and
wash exposed areas with soap and water. Allowing dust
to get into your mouth, eyes, or lay on the skin may promote
absorption of harmful chemicals.
WARNING: Use of this tool can generate and/or disperse
dust, which may cause serious and permanent respiratory or
other injury. Always use NIOSH/OSHA approved respiratory
protection appropriate for the dust exposure. Direct particles
away from face and body.
• Air vents often cover moving parts and should be avoided.
Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

CAUTION: A heavy duty hose should be used for the inlet
hose to prevent the hose from collapsing.
The DCE050 uses hoses with a 3/4" GHT female fitting.
nOTE: For best results, use a short length, large
diameter hoses (not included).
nOTE: Longer or smaller diameter hoses may affect
performance and flow rate.
1. Remove the two hose connection caps
2. For best results, apply thread sealing tape onto the hose
inlet connection
to help create an air tight connection.
11
3. Thread the suction hose connection
inlet connection
and tighten.
11
nOTE: Ensure the flow of water matches the direction of
flow arrow on the main housing.
4. Use a hose with a 3/4" GHT female fitting for an outlet
hose
17
. Tighten the outlet hose connection
hose outlet connection
12
5. Ensure that all hose connections are tight.
nOTE: Small leaks from the hose inlet connection will
greatly reduce suction and the efficiency of the pump, and
may prevent priming.
OPERATION
WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and remove the battery pack
before making any adjustments or removing/installing
attachments or accessories. An accidental start‑up can
cause injury.
