Legen Sie als nächstes eine Batterie des Typs. Mignon (Typ AA, 1.5V, LR6) in das Batteriefach ein. Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polaritāt. Falls sich ein Stift auf der Rückseite des Uhrwerks befindet, nehmen Sie ihn bitte ab, um das ordnungsgemäße Funktionieren des gesamten Uhrwerks zu gewährleisten.

Die zuvor empfangene Uhrzeit wird gelöscht und der Empfangsversuch beginnt erneut mit der Suche nach dem DCF-Signal. Störung: Wenn sich die Zeiger nach dem Einlegen einer Batterie nicht bewegen. Die Funkuhr zeigt die falsche Uhrzeit, weil sie kein Funksignal nach Einlegen der Batterie empfängt.
