Before plugging into the mains, make sure the voltage of your mains supply corre-
sponds to the V value indicated on the appliance and that the socket and power line
are appropriate for the load required.
-
THIS APPLIANCE COMPLIES WITH DIRECTIVE
RENCE SUPPRESSION.
INSTALLATION
The appliance can be used on any horizontal surface.
Do not overload the electrical circuit. Avoid using the same socket for other appliances.
OPERATION AND USE
1. Make sure the appliance is off before plugging into the mains
2. Plug into the mains socket.
3. Turn the appliance on by placing the thermostat (E) in the Max position and the mode
selector (A) in one of the following positions:
-
Summer mode (fan only): turn the mode selector to the
on).
-
Operating at Min power: turn the mode selector to the "1" position.
-
Operating at Max power: turn the mode selector to the "2" position.
-
To turn the appliance off: turn the mode selector to the "0" position and the thermo-
stat to the
position, then unplug from the mains.
Adjusting the thermostat
When the room has reached the required temperature, turn the thermostat (E) slowly
clockwise until you hear a "click". The thermostat will automatically regulate the tempera-
ture set and keep it constant.
Freeze protection function
With the thermostat dial at minimum
maintains room temperature at about 5°C, preventing freezing with minimal energy con-
sumption.
MODELS WITH MOTORISED ROTATING BASE
A number of models have a motorised rotating base. To distribute the air flow over a lar-
ger area, press the swing button (B). The appliance swings from right to left.
To stop the appliance in the desired position, simply press the button again (B).
Models with motorised base are fitted with a tip over switch which turns the appliance off
if it falls over. To restart the appliance, simply place it upright again.
