When the pilot lamp flickers rapidly in red (at 0.2–
second intervals), check for and take out any
foreign objects in the charger's battery installation
hole. If there are no foreign objects, it is probable
that the battery or charger is malfunctioning. Take
it to your authorized Service Center.
●
Since the built-in microcomputer takes about 3
seconds to confirm that the battery and back pack
power supply being charged with UC36YRSL is
taken out, wait for a minimum of 3 seconds before
reinserting it to continue charging. If the battery
is reinserted within 3 seconds, the battery and
back pack power supply may not be properly
charged.

BEFORE USE

Check the work area to make sure that it is clear of debris
and clutter.
Clear the area of unnecessary personnel. Ensure that
lighting and ventilation is adequate.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

1. Switch ON (Fig. 5)
The blade starts moving by pulling the trigger of the
main handle while holding the sub handle.
2. Switch OFF (Fig. 5)
The blade stops moving by releasing the trigger of
the main handle or the sub handle.

3. Blade case (Fig. 6)
When the hedge trimmer blade is to be attached to
or removed from the tool, or when the shear is not
used, place the blade in the blade case to prevent
injury.

WARNING
Be sure to turn the tool off and remove the battery
from the tool before attaching and removing the
blade case.
CAUTION
To prevent injury, take care when placing the blade
in the blade case.
4. Stroke speed selector function
CAUTION
Do not subject the switch panel to shock or damage.
The stroke speed changes in 4 steps (1,000 1,170 1,330
1,500/min) each time the selector switch is pressed with
green light. (Fig. 7, Table. 5)
