• Disconnect ALL electric and battery power BEFORE performing ANY
service or maintenance.
To prevent damage to the receiver logic board, DO NOT touch printed
circuit board of replacement receiver logic board during installation.
ALWAYS wear protective gloves and eye protection when changing the
battery or working around the battery compartment.

Before you begin.
Your new myQ serial number is located on the
replacement label with your replacement logic board. You will need this new myQ
serial number to connect your operator to the network. You will also have a STEP
SAVER SETUP label that must be adhered to your end panel directly under the yellow
LEARN Button for future identification that your board has been updated, and a new
Product Label to be placed over the current Product Label.

Disconnect power.

Remove the battery cover. Disconnect
the battery (optional accessory).
Remove the battery and set aside.

Unplug the wire harnesses from the
receiver logic board (E).

Remove the four screws securing

Open the front panel (A).
8.
Install the receiver logic board and
connect the wire harnesses. Ensure the
wire harnesses are connected properly.
Route the antenna through the channel
in the cover. Install receiver logic board
cover.

Adhere the STEP SAVER SETUP label on
the end panel directly below the yellow
Learn Button. Adhere the new Product
Label over the existing product label.
10.
Adhere the new myQ serial number label
over the original label on the logic board
cover.
11.
Reconnect the wires to the quick
connect terminals (C).
12.
Install the battery (optional accessory)
and connect the battery connectors.
Install the battery cover (B).
13.
Reconnect the power.
14.
Reprogram the travel and test the safety
reversal system (see pages 2 and 3).
15.
Program any accessories you may have
such as remote controls, keyless entries
or myQ Remote LED Lights (see page
4).
16.
Use the myQ app to add the new myQ
serial number to your account or Login
to your myQ Business account
myqbusiness.com) and remove the
original myQ serial number for this
operator. Then, follow the steps to
program the DDO8900W operator in
order to relearn it to your myQ Business
account.
