NOTE
► Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage .
► If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a result of defective
packaging or during transport, contact the Service hotline (see section Service) .
♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the carton .
♦ Remove all packaging material .

Power supply

♦ Use two 1 .5 V batteries q to operate the appliance . To insert the supplied
batteries q proceed as follows:
1) Carefully twist the housing 4 anticlockwise off the hand element 5 and place it
to one side .
2) Insert the batteries q . Pay heed to the correct polarity markings given on the
housing 4 .
3) Push the housing 4 back onto the hand element 5 . Turn the housing 4
c lockwise to tighten it .
NOTE
► If the polishing effect diminishes, the batteries q must be replaced .

Handling and use

This section provides important information about proper handling and operation
of the appliance .

Attaching the polishing cap

♦ Place the shaft of the polishing cap 2 onto the attachment thread 1 . Turn the
polishing cap 2 clockwise while pressing down the catch

Removing the polishing cap

NOTE
► Remove the polishing cap 2 when it no longer delivers the required polishing
result .
♦ Press down the catch

6 while turning the polishing cap 2 anticlockwise .
6 to tighten it .
