Installation and User Guide :
1 - Cut gel pack end to end and pull sides of casing apart to
expose entire length of RB-IS.
2 - Scratch soil surface and water plant thoroughly.
3 - Place on moist soil with opening face down, next to the
plant stem. Do not remove gel from the plastic casing to
avoid evaporation.
4 - Water will be dispersed at a consistent rate for up to 30/90
days (depending on the model). Do not remove the gel
during this period of time. NB : soil surface stays dry.
5 - Replace the gel pack when empty.

Small planters may contain large plants and larger
containers may contain small plants, so the quanti-
ties used may need to be adjusted.
If wilting occurs, water the plant and add more gel
packs.

The rate at which the product liquefies varies based
on several factors, resulting in a usage life that could
be shorter than 90 days. Users are advised to check
the product package within 45-60 days.
The recommended number of gel pack is based on the
average needs of medium water-use plant material.
- For high water-use plants, increase the number of
gel packs by 15-20%
- For low water-use plants, decrease the number of
gel packs by 15-20%
The amount of product used can also be adjusted
from the recommended quantities in extreme wet or
dry climatic conditions.
Excessive heat, wind, plants with extensive foliage or
plants bearing fruit will require additional watering.
Best used within one year of the manufacturing date
on top of the package.
