•
To improve the water drainage process, place the appliance in an
elevated position.
•
Use a short hose. If the hose is too long, there is a possibility that the
water will not drain completely. Standing water in the hose can lead to
mould.
•
When the drain is not in use, remove the drain hose from the outlet and
close it again. The water will then run back into the internal water tank.
Maintenance
•
For maintenance of the unit, switch off the unit and disconnect it from the
Power Outlet.
•
When the dehumidifier is not in use, it should be disconnected from the
mains supply.
•
Use water and mild detergents for cleaning. Do not use bleach or
abrasives to clean the appliance.
•
Only use a damp cloth for cleaning. The dehumidifier must not be
exposed to water jets or splashing water, as this can lead to poorer
insulation or damage to the electronics.
•
To clean the air inlet and outlet openings, use a soft brush or paintbrush.
Clean the water tank regularly to
avoid mould in the humidifier.
Clean the plastic surface of the unit
carefully with a damp cloth and use
only very mild cleaning agents and no
abrasives or bleach to avoid
scratches or damage.
